In Cascina Triulza, Cesvi/Alliance2015 will promote initiatives to raise awareness on food security and the right to food thanks to the conceptual framework of the Food Right Now campaign supported by the European Commission. Through these initiatives, Cesvi/Alliance2015 will promote awareness of issues such as: socio-economic conditions of small farmers and their role in agricultural policies; role of women in agriculture and economic management of the household; promotion of a balanced use of natural resources for a better preservation of the planet; and the link between environmental sustainability and the socio-economic development of local communities. The proposed initiatives include an exhibition about Alliance2015 projects to fight hunger in Uganda; educational workshops on the right to food for schools; and a lectio magistralis on project management and food security hold by Cesvi experts.
