Be the change that you want to see in the world - Gandhi
'Feel Your Spirit' is about discovering one's inner self; an entire world of peace that lies beneath the layers of our physical bodies. With the help of Sahaja Yoga meditation, one can feel it, experience it and live it. This inner self is beyond our minds, habits, conditionings, and all that prevents us from fully enjoying our beings, and growing within. In this day and age, one of our primary goals is to live in a more sustainable way, in a more harmonious relationship with nature and its resources. To achieve this we must, first of all, begin to lead lives of inner balance - and meditation helps us to get there. When we learn how to take care of our inner being, a wider awareness is established . Over and above its well-known positive effects on our general well-being, meditation can, under the right conditions, facilitate a transformational change in our value system, in the way we perceive reality, and, consequently, in the way we behave towards each other. If this is true, then the planetary diffusion of this practice, grounded in all the major philosophical and spiritual traditions, might very well contribute to create the conditions for the gradual solution to today’s maladies in a substantial way, starting from the individual.
Sahaja yoga is a meditation method developed by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in India starting from 1970 and now practised in more than 90 countries. It is a holistic approach to well being and aims to help people achieve their full potential through the awakening, knowledge and use of the Inner Life Energy that resides within each of us. By increasing awareness and a sense of oneness with yourself, the world and nature, its aim is to nurture a peaceful and sustainable coexistence for all. Sahaja yoga programmes are always offered free of charge via a network of non-profit associations around the world. The participation in EXPO is organized by the Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi Sahaja Yoga World Foundation.
