Starts from Cascina Triulza, the Civil Society Pavilion in ExpoMilan2015 the presentation of the Universal Charter of the rights of the cultivated land that will be submitted to the other pavilions of 145 different countries and will bring to Pope Francesco by cycling.
The greatest Italian and international experts have discussed innovative approaches to the markets and in economic life. Proposals, experiences, new technologies, testimonies and ideas to find new solutions and new innovative energy out of the crisis that surrounds us were at the base of the rights written in the Charter.
The Charter was presented in Cascina Triulza during a workshop organized by Socialing Institute of the Free University Carlo Cattaneo. The largest Italian and international experts have met to share and discuss the paper, including Andrea Farinet, president of the Socialing Institute and Giancarlo Roversi, journalist, authors of the Charter; Lama Ganchen Rinpoche, Edoardo Boncinelli, geneticist and professor at the University Vita Salute; the jurist Livia Pomodoro; Remo Lucchi, honorary president Gfk Eurisko, Dipak Pant, anthropologist of Liuc University.
The Charter is a document that can take into account the diversity implicit in the cultivated areas, without betraying the preservation of the four fundamental pillars: Dignity, Integrity, naturalness, Fertility of Cultivated Land.
The Charter of the Rights of the cultivated land will be presented in all Expo Pavilions to collect signatures. On September 3rd, a team of Socialing Institute will start cycling from the Universal Exhibition to deliver to Pope Francesco a copy of the paper, crossing Italy along the ancient Via Francigena.
