Civil Society

Avis 14 Giugno

An essential and central feature of the Pavilion's management model is the direct engagement of the Italian and international Civil Society organizations in the construction of the Cultural Programme. Fondazione Triulza collects organizations' suggestions and proposals through specific international Calls of ideas:

  • “Exploding your idea! Destination Expo Milano 2015” is the International Call promoted in collaboration with Expo 2015 S.p.A., which allows public institutions and Third Sector organizations from all over the world – also in partnership with businesses - to attend and to propose events, cultural activities, exhibitions, meetings and entertainment events to be included in the cultural programme of Cascina Triulza.

160 Civil Society players participated in the first two editions with 192 projects. Organizations can have a space in Cascina Triulza by taking part to the third edition: deadline October 2015.

  • The Children Lab Call is an initiative launched by Fondazione Triulza to give visibility to Third Sector organizations engaging in educational and entertainment activities for children and youngsters, whose projects will be hosted at Cascina Triulza. The selected organizations will be responsible for organizing the Children Lab workshop and activity calendar, as part of the Expo programme for families. The workshops will translate the theme “Feeding the Planet, energy for Life” into activities for children aged 4 to 10 years, focusing in particular on three topics: healthy food, environmental sustainability and water (water and life – water and energy – water and food – water and lifestyles– water and human rights). Closing date: 31 March 2015.
